Marco Antonio de Mattos Filho or simply Marquinho (born July 3, 1986 in Passo Fundo), is a Brazilian attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Fluminense.
Marquinho started in football at the Gaucho. Passed in the youth through various clubs until you reach the Palms. At the time Green was promoted to the main cast in 2007 after his manager threatened not to renew the contract of the player, because he acted only in Palmeiras B without first team opportunities.
His first game in the first team was on January 18, 2007, victory over Palmeiras in the Paulista 4-2. He also made only one more game at Brasileirão against Goias in August 2007, the player moved to Botafogo. In 2008, after being discharged from the Rio club, hit with Figueirense. At the end of his contract, he was transferred in early 2009, for Fluminense. At the end of 2009, after nearly being relegated Fluminense, Marquinho made the equalizing goal in the last league game, freeing the rival Fluminense Series B in 2010.
